Halloween, also known as All Hallow’s Eve, is a yearly celebration observed by numerious countries on October 31st. Typical Halloween activities include trick-or-treating, attending costume parties, decorating and carving pumpkins, attending haunted attractions and much more. 2. Haunted Harvest
This family-friendly event at Springs Preserve features a haunted maze, carnival games, trick or treat stations, petting zoo and more. It runs Oct. 16-18, 23-25 and Oct. 30-31 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.  Admission is $6. Children age 2 and under get in for free. For an additional $3 for members and $5 for non-members, guests can take a “haunted” train ride. Tickets can be purchased online at the Haunted Harvest Springs Preserve website.

4. OktoberFrightFest
Held on Freemont Street Las Vegas, OktoberFRIGHTFest is an event that combines Oktoberfest and Halloween giving guests a one of a kind experience. The festival showcases free productions of original shows such as Vampire Rising and Frank & the Steins. While these shows play for the Halloween aspect, craft brewers supply the Oktoberfest part of the festival, with many beer samples and live entertainment OktoberFRIGHTFest is one unforgettable event.

5. Via Brasil Halloween Ball
Via Brasil in Summerlin, Las Vegas, is hosting a Halloween Ball with DJ’s, dancing, costumes, live performances and great food and drinks. This will be Via Brasil’s second annual Halloween Ball and it starts at 7pm October 31st. Guests should dress up for a chance to win the restaurant’s costume contest. Fright Dome is a great place to spend your time in October! 7. HallOVeen

Opportunity Village’s 3rd annual HallOVeen will turn the Magical Forest into a spooky land of goblins and ghosts. This child friendly event will feature rides and attractions including The Haunted Adventure by Santino and Rocco Panaro, a spooktacular Forest Express Passenger Train, Cheyenne’s Enchanted Carousel and Boris the Elf’s 3D Experience. Guests will enjoy nightly parades, crafts, spooky movies, story telling, “Scary-oke”, the Candy Cabin and special entertainment in the Haunted Castle Courtyard. Each night will feature a different theme with nightly costume contests and prizes awarded to winners.

HallOVeen debuts Oct. 9 and will be open every Friday-Sunday night throughout the month of Oct. During the last week of the month, HallOVeen will be open nightly through Nov. 1, which will feature a “Day of the Dead” theme for the final evening. HallOveen hours are Fridays-Saturdays 5:30-10 p.m., Sundays 5:30-9 p.m. and Oct. 26-29 5:30-9 p.m. General admission pricing is $11.99 for adults and $9.99 for children.
