Built by KB Homes, Silver Hills is another large neighborhood in Mountain’s Edge. Seven Hills is just one of KB Homes constructed Mountain’s Edge subdivision. The other KB Homes subdivisions in Mountain’s Edge are Chaco Canyon, Sterling Ridge, Alturas, and Montecito. The homes in the Silver Hills subdivision were built in different phases. In all Silver Hills offers 6 different floor plans, making this neighborhood one of the more varied looking neighborhood in Mountain’s Edge. These homes range in size from 1,700 square feet to over 2,400 square feet. These single and double story homes include a 2 car garage.
The Mountain’s Edge houses in Silver Hills feature 3-5 bedrooms and 2-3 bathrooms. The oldest homes in this neighborhood were built in 2006 and the newest were built in 2010. Mountain’s Edge is a master planned community located in the south western portion of Las Vegas. This region is called a master planned community because it was envisioned by Focus Property Group and planned out before any building was done. Construction on Mountain’s Edge began in early 2004, making the oldest homes in this master planned community just over 10 years old. Over half of the homes constructed in Mountain’s Edge were built in the year of the real estate market decline. The decline in 2008 stalled further production for some of this region’s construction plans, but there are homes in this community which were built in and after 2008.
Homes in Mountain’s Edge are known for their various floor plans and neighborhoods were divided by the various home builders in charge of the construction of these homes. These home plans have great layouts for entertaining guest and maintaining a comfortable living style. Homes in Mountain’s Edge were designed and built by DR Horton, Ryland Homes, Richmond American Homes, Lennar, Pulte Homes, and several others. The biggest homes constructed in Mountain’s Edge were built by Richmond American Homes.
Being located on the very southwest side of Las Vegas allows residents amazing views of the beautiful desert landscape that runs parallel to Las Vegas. Some of the landmarks that can be seen from Mountain’s Edge are Red Rock and Mount Charleston.
Mountain’s Edge is located in the unincorporated town of Enterprise, Nevada. Enterprise includes a large portion of South West Las Vegas and was created in 1996 and is governed by the Clark County Commission. Enterprise is a more family focused area of Las Vegas where Allegiant Airlines has its headquarters.
Mountain’s Edge is home to over 12,000 Las Vegas residents. It measures just over 3,000 acres and is located in the Las Vegas zip code of 89178. Mountain’s Edge sister community is located in the North West and is known as Providence.
