2. Gilcrease Orchard

Gilcrease Orchard’s are a perfect place for fresh food and fresh air! Gilcrease Orchard is famous for their amazing cider which they say “Every year about 80 tons of apples are harvested for our apple cider. We use our gala, yellow gala and an early red variety. If you like Gala apples, that is how it tastes. Absolutely NOTHING else is added. ” stop by and try it for yourself! Held once a month on, you guessed it, the first Friday, this one of a kind event is something fun for everyone. Held between 6:00pm and 11:00pm down at 107 E Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas the First Friday event has lots art, food, drinks, photography, jewelry and more!

Oktoberfest is happening from October 1st till the 31st at Freemont Street. Oktoberfest is a beer-infused party. If you like drinking you wont want to miss out on the Las Vegas Oktoberfest going on.

Fright Dome is a great place to spend your time in October! It’s open from October 2nd to the 31st.  With 250,000 square feet, 6 Haunted Houses, 4 Scare Zones, 25 Rides and Attractions, Live Shows Nightly, this is the place to be. 8. Southern Hills Hospital Balloon Festival

Southern Hills Hospital Balloon Festival benefits High School to Healthcare Scholarship. Celebrate Halloween and Nevada Day Weekend with balloon launches, a haunted maze, amusement rides, and trick-or-treating with balloon pilots. This even takes place Friday, Oct. 23 to Sunday, Oct. 25 at 9300 W Sunset Rd Las Vegas, NV 89148.

9. Fall Harvest Festival

The hours and location of the Festival are 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. on October 16th, 23rd, and 30th and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. October 17-18th, 24-25th, and 31st.  7222 West Grand Teton Drive in Las Vegas.  Admission to the Fall Harvest Festival is just $5 for adults and $3 for children. Rides, concessions and other activities are all available on the weekends only, at reasonable prices. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. The Festival is open to the public, offers lots of activities such as hay rides, cow train, pony rides, and a maze. Visitors can find a large selection of specialty pumpkins, squash and artisanal jams and jellies, along with local honey and farm-fresh eggs

10. Mirage Volcano

 Located outside of the Mirage Casino, this is a great free activity for anyone! The spectacular Volcano at The Mirage now includes two volcano systems, a lagoon and fire shooters that shoot flame on demand, more than 12 feet into the air.
